At the mid-year meeting of the National Board of Directors approval was given to a Group of Intent of 28 students at Temple University to recolonize the Xi Alpha Chapter. The group is being led by Brother Craig Dunkle, Eta Beta ’10 and Brother Gaetano Piccirilli, Xi Alpha ’01.
After transferring to Temple University to complete his studies for his Bachelor’s degree, Craig approached the National Office about recolonizing the Xi Alpha Chapter. Gaetano Piccirilli is a highly successful lawyer in Center City Philadelphia who will be serving as the group’s Alumni Advisor. In little less than two months, the group has grown to 28 members and is expected to petition for Provisional Chapter status by the end of the spring semester.
About the recolonization Executive Director Rosenberg, Xi Alpha ’96 said “The National Fraternity is excited about the opportunity to recolonize the Xi Alpha Chapter at Temple University. It is one of the first steps in the five year expansion plan approved by the Board of Directors at the past National Convention.”
