The National Fraternity of Kappa Delta Rho is proud to announce that William C. Lowe, Rho 62’ who is recognized as the” Father of the IBM PC” will be the Keynote Speaker at the 98th Annual National Convention which will be held in Roanoke, Virginia from August 6th to the 9th. It is Brother Lowe’s ingenuity and leadership that assisted IBM to revolutionize the industry practices that lowered the cost of computer purchases and repairs for the everyday consumer. The advances he developed in manufacturing and purchasing practices would also make possible the creation of Intel and Microsoft.
Brother Lowe had to say about the opportunity of being the keynote speaker at the 98th National Convention and Elmon M. Williams Leadership Academy;
I am very excited about joining the KDR Annual Meeting this year as a speaker. The KDR experience helped prepare me for the challenges I have had the opportunity to deal with over these years since graduation, I have been blessed with many opportunities to deal with new products, new business ventures and many great people. I hope to share some of the lessons and rich experiences with the Brothers.
The 98th National Convention and Elmon M. Williams Leadership Academy will be held from August 6 to 9, 2009 at the Roanoke Plaza Hotel which is soon to be the Sheraton Roanoke Hotel & Conference Center.
