Brothers at Virginia Tech have been working diligently in hopes of raising over $10,000 for children’s cancer research. They are extremely excited to host their first on-campus philanthropy event which will take place the week of April 26th. Donations have already reached over $7,000 but they are confident they can surpass their goal with the continued efforts of each brother. Since the end of last year brothers have been sharing their mission with friends and family. All of the chapter’s efforts will culminate into a head shaving event to raise awareness for children’s cancer. This event takes place on Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Other events include a DP Dough sponsored meal where 10% of pretax dollars will be donated. A charity concert will also take place on Wednesday night featuring The Hammer Boys at Awful Arthurs in downtown Blacksburg.
