The third annual KDR Charity Golf Tournament was a success,exceeding expectations on how
much money could be raised for Camp Dreamcatcher, a Kennettbased non-profit that holds a
therapeutic camp for youngsters who are afflicted with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
There were 102 golfers participating in the event. The players, sponsors, and volunteers helped
to raise $4,339.07 for Camp Dreamcatcher this year, exceeding the goal of $2,500. To date, the
KDR Charity Golf Tournament, in its short three year existence, has raised over $9,500 for local
Chester County non-profit organizations. Organizers thanked Wyncote Golf Club for hosting the
event; Camp Dreamcatcher Executive Director Patty Hillkirk for her endless support throughout the planning process; the Chester County Press for covering the event in their weekly publication; Chris Phillips for his web support with www.kdrgolf.com; Travis Olszewski for his continued administrative support year after year; and the members of the Kappa Delta Rho, Eta Beta Chapter active brotherhood for their dedication and hard work which contributes to making sure the event is a success each year.
