Statement regarding the incident on October 8, 2021, at the University of Delaware from Joseph Rosenberg, National Executive Director of Kappa Delta Rho:
Respect for every individual is a hallmark principle of the National Fraternity of Kappa Delta Rho. Obviously, the actions reported with respect to this incident and the behavior of our ex-member do not meet that standard. We support the leadership and the men of our Alpha Beta Chapter who upon knowledge of the incident reported it immediately to the Title IX Office at the University of Delaware and then took action to expel the person from our organization.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the woman who was assaulted in the incident of October 8 involving our ex-member.
Kappa Delta Rho is an organization characterized by devotion to respect for others. We will continue to require that each of our members honors that principle in all respects and at all times.
