BROTHER AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP FOR HIGHEST FRATERNITY GPA AT RMU
R. Eric Fonte Memorial Scholarship Awarded to John Noel, Eta Alpha ’14, for Second Year in a Row
GREENSBURG, PA – On May 17th it was announced that Brother John Noel, Eta Alpha ’14, had won for the second year in a row the R. Eric Fonte Memorial Scholarship from Robert Morris University (RMU). The $1,500 scholarship is awarded to the man with the highest GPA among fraternity members at RMU, a feat Brother Noel has now accomplished in both his sophomore and junior years of study. The R. Eric Fonte Memorial Scholarship is awarded in memory of Richard Eric Fonte (1973-2003) who was born and raised in Bridgeville, PA and graduated Robert Morris University in 1995.
The Eta Alpha chapter of Kappa Delta Rho was founded on April 3, 1981. The chapter prides itself on its academic achievement, athletic achievement and philanthropic success. Recipients of the KDR National Chapter of the Year Award in 2002 and numerous other local, regional and national awards, the brothers of Kappa Delta Rho strive to be the best in promoting positive relationships between their Brothers, the university, and the surrounding community.
Kappa Delta Rho is an American college social fraternity spread throughout the United States. The fraternity places emphasis on Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship, Service, and Tradition.
