Chapter at Robert Morris University Wins Outstanding Community Service
GREENSBURG, PA – The National Fraternity of Kappa Delta Rho is pleased to announce that the Eta Alpha Chapter of Kappa Delta Rho at Robert Morris University in Coraopolis, PA was recently awarded the George E. Kimball Award for outstanding community service. The award was presented on Sunday, August 11, at the Elmon M. Williams Leadership Academy in Pittsburg, PA. The award is given to the chapter that demonstrates the strongest and most consistent commitment to community service over the previous academic year.
The Eta Alpha Chapter of Kappa Delta Rho at Robert Morris University in Coraopolis, PA was founded in 1981. The awarding of the George E. Kimball Award for outstanding community service to the chapter is a reflection of their hard work, commitment, and dedication to the mission of Kappa Delta Rho to create a living organization that actively challenges each member to rise above everyday pursuits, be of character, and confront the needs of our modern society by placing honor before all things. The award is named after one of the Fraternity’s founders, George E. Kimball, who presided over the Commons Club at Middlebury College. Under his leadership and dedication, some of the members of this club eventually developed into what is today the Kappa Delta Rho Fraternity – a bond shared by over 24,000 initiates. His dedication to the community is remembered with the award for outstanding social service.
Kappa Delta Rho is an American college social fraternity spread throughout the United States. The fraternity places emphasis on Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship, Service, and Tradition.
