Chapter at University of North Carolina at Greensboro Wins Outstanding Website
GREENSBURG, PA – The National Fraternity of Kappa Delta Rho is pleased to announce that the Sigma Beta Chapter of Kappa Delta Rho at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro was recently awarded the John V. Dempsey Award for outstanding chapter website. The award was presented on Sunday, August 11, at the Elmon M. Williams Leadership Academy in Pittsburg, PA. The award is given to the chapter that maintains the most informative and appealing chapter website.
The Sigma Beta Chapter of Kappa Delta Rho at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro was founded in 1992. The awarding of the John V. Dempsey Award for outstanding chapter website to the chapter is a reflection of their hard work, commitment, and dedication to the mission of Kappa Delta Rho to create a living organization that actively challenges each member to rise above everyday pursuits, be of character, and confront the needs of our modern society by placing honor before all things. The award is named after John V. Dempsey, a 1990 graduate of our Upsilon Alpha Chapter at Parks College/Saint Louis University. Brother Dempsey volunteered his valuable time and wisdom as the Webmaster of the National Fraternity for many years starting in 1996.
Kappa Delta Rho is an American college social fraternity spread throughout the United States. The fraternity places emphasis on Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship, Service, and Tradition.
