Dr. Harold Osborn was a 1992 graduate of the Eta Chapter at the University of Illinois and won the Gold Medal in the Decathalon and High Jump at the 1924 Olympic games. He still holds the record for being the only man to ever win both events. Because of his athletic accomplishments, out Fraternity has named the Outstanding Intramural Sports Award in his memory.
